We’re excited to share that our NEW FACTS Homepage will be rolled out starting 26 March.
When users log in, they’ll see a cleaner, more modern homepage experience designed to make navigation easier for your staff, students and caregivers/families. It has also been thoughtfully designed for mobile and tablet use, making it easier to stay connected on the go.
We recommend communicating this message to your communities before March 26, and we have provided resources to help make the transition smooth.
Why We’ve Made This Change
This update has been shaped by feedback from schools. Many users have told us that the current homepage can feel text-heavy and busy, so we’ve redesigned it to provide a clearer layout, a better information hierarchy, and a more engaging experience across devices.
You’ll also notice improvements, including:
• A simpler Favourites experience where only the page selected is added
• Greater flexibility when managing Staff Favourites
• A more engaging FACTS Updates panel with improved visibility controls
Importantly, the everyday tasks your staff complete in FACTS remain the same. This update simply helps users find what they need more easily.
New Menu will be on by Default
Alongside the homepage update, the new menu structure will become the standard navigation experience across FACTS. Some schools may already be using this menu. If it’s new for your team, we have created a short video to walk you through how the new menu structure works and show your team where to find any of the existing Overview pages.

Will the New Homepage be rolled out to NPE web apps before being to deployed to Production web apps?
Just a quick reminder that the new Homepage and menu updates will first roll out to your NPE environment, followed by your Live environment from March 26th.
