Sending Emails through General Messaging

Search for Messaging General as per screen shot then select [Messaging General]:

 

 

Example we wish to SMS  Caregivers for Year 12 about Sports day 

1.  Select [ Messaging]

 

Tagset Options Available

1. Select [Tagset]

1. [Criteria] select Year/Form / House
2. [One student per family] if you where selecting the whole school perhaps you would only want to send one sms per family you would select this.
3. [Year level] select the year level you wish to send too e.g. is Year 12  if whole school you would select *C 
4. [Add to Selection]

 

1. Your students selected will show here
2. Untick if you do not want to send to any of the students selected
3. [Return Tagged] or other options

 

Who do you wish to send the message too:  

1. Select who you wish to send the email too (this example will be Corr Owner Primary and any Alt 
2. Select

 

1. Select [Emails] from the drop down
2.

Caregivers show with the tick against their name - the ones that have SMS registered

Note You can hover over the blue I to see the details 

3. Icons show - Green - have SMS and email accounts  Red - shows they do not have emails or SMS numbers on their accounts.

After typing in your message select [Send]

Ticks will show when sent
